Image Tools

On the left of the Image display are icons representing the following image tools:

Description

Zoom In - Allows the user to zoom in the image.  When the user clicks on the Zoom In Button on the toolbar, the image will be enlarged.

Zoom Out - Allows the user to zoom out the image.   When the user clicks on the Zoom Out Button on the toolbar, the image will be reduced.

Fit in Window - Fits the image horizontally to the window so the user does not need to scroll left or right to see the entire width of the image.  When the user clicks on this button, the image will fit within the width of the Imaging Panel.

Fit Width - Fits the image horizontally and vertically to the window, so the user does not need to use the scrollbars to see the entire image.  When the user clicks on this button, the image will fit within the Imaging Panel.

 

 

Rotate clockwise- Rotates the image 90 degrees to the right.  When the user clicks on this button, the image will be rotated 90 degrees to the right.

Rotate counter-clockwise- Rotates the image 90 degrees to the left.   When the user clicks on this button, the image will be rotated 90 degrees to the left.

Flip- Rotates the image 180 degrees.  When the  user clicks this button on the toolbar, the image will be turned upward down.

Show Title Chain - displays a one-line summary of the Title Chain from which the document was requested.

Prints current page - Prints the current page of the Image.  To print all the pages, the user should use the Print Button on the Global Toolbar.

 

Rubber band Zoom - Allows the user to zoom an image by holding the left mouse button and dragging the cursor in a diagonal direction and then releasing the mouse button.  It will usually enlarge the image to its maximum size.  If your image is displayed very small, there will be an intermediate size displayed before you can select the maximum enlargement.  The maximum enlargement is approximately 400%.
