The Images Panel is located below the History Panel to the left of the Application Window .
The content of the Images Panel will be updated and refreshed periodically while the images are being downloaded. These periodic updates and refreshes show the download progress for each of the images. This progress will be indicated by the page number increasing from zero to the correct number of pages for the image. Documents that are empty or have an error will show "(0)" pages with the appropriate image error panel icon.
Not all reports have downloaded image documents. When a report in the History Panel is selected that has no downloaded images, the "No Images Ordered for this Report" message will appear in the Images Panel until images are downloaded.
When an item in the Images Panel is printed, the icon of the entry will switch to the appropriate printer icons.
When a History Panel item is clicked, the listed images are limited to the clicked entry. If tax and title reports are in the same folder (through a Search List submission and images have been downloaded for both parameters), only the Assessors Map will be viewed for Tax reports. Only the Title images will appear for the Title report.
The amount of images listed in the Images Panel is configurable by a setting in the DST 2.0 configuration file. The default value for this setting is twenty (20) images. When the amount of images in the Image Panel exceeds this default setting, a drop down will become available for the user to use. A drop down will allow users to select different quantities of images. This will prevent the quantity of images to be too large.
All report entries that are not currently selected will use the blue font color.
For the batch imaging service, the images in the Images Panel are in order according to the sequence specified in the search list. Within each search list item, the images are in ascending order of the document numbers.
For all other services, the order in which the images appear in the Images Panel will be based on the sequence they appear in their corresponding reports. If ten images are downloaded from a title report, they will be in the same order the corresponding records appear in the report. If ten images are downloaded from the Batch Imaging Service, the images will be in numerical order based on the image identifier (parcel, plat, or instrument numbers).
Subsequent requests from a report that already has images downloaded will not change the order that the original image documents are listed. For example:
A sample title report has 10 records (all with images available for download);
A user requests images for records 7, 8, 9 & 10;
The Images Panel displays these images in the same order the images are listed in the report;
After the images are retrieved, the user un-checks records 9 and 10, checks records 2 and 3, and clicks the "View Images" button.
Images 9 and 10 remain in the Images Panel; and
Images 2 and 3 are added at the BOTTOM of the Images Panel list
After this scenario, the order of the image documents in the Images Panel is as follows: 7, 8, 9, 10, 2, and 3.
The right-click of the mouse on an entry in the Images Panel activates the Context Menu. This right-click does NOT select the item to be displayed in the Application Window. This allows users to print entries without viewing them. This functionality is consistent with the Microsoft Windows UI experience.
If image documents are to be printed with the clicked - but not selected - report, the image documents associated with the report will be printed instead of the image documents in the Images Panel.
Image Discrepancy - Submit an Image Discrepancy Form for a selected image.
Print Image- Prints only the right-clicked entry.
Print All Images- Prints all images in the Image Panel.
Clear All Images- Deletes all entries in the History Panel.
