Search Parameters Panel

The Search Parameters Panel primary use is to add multiple parameters to a investigative or order search. The single parameter searches can only be used to add an investigative search to the search parameters list, but is not necessary.

For Single Parameter Panel

The search parameters panel will be activated when the first letter or number is entered into the main parameters field. Clicking the Add button will add the single search parameters the Search Parameters panel search list.

For Multiple Parameters Panel

The search parameters dropdown menu will display when one of the multiple parameter search services is selected from the Services panel. After the appropriate parameters have been added to the main parameters panel for the investigative or order search, the user can click Add and select another multiple parameter service from the search parameters dropdown menu.

Note: The Search Parameter Panel maybe referred to as Multi-Search Parameter Panel elsewhere in this document.

The panel includes the following dropdown field and buttons:

Field	Entry Instructions
Search Parameter Menu	When one of the multiple parameter services are selected, the Search Parameters Panel is activated. This will allow the user to add a new set of parameters (multiple parameters) to the investigative or order search.
Add	Click this button to add a set of parameters to the search list.
Update	Selecting a search parameter from the search list will enable this button. After selecting a parameter from the list, click this button to update all or parts of the selected search parameter.
Reset	Click this button to reset the search parameters in the main panel.
Delete	Selecting a search parameter from the search list to will enable this button. After selecting a parameter from the list, click this button to delete the selected search parameter.

Deleting from the Search Parameters Panel

After selecting an entry from the "Parameter List" dropdown box and the data has been copied into the fields, the user can click the [Delete] button to remove the search parameters from the Search List.

Deleting a search will only delete the specifically selected name. Deleting a requested parameter search will delete the requested search and all associated Searched parameters.

A pop-up dialog box will ask the user for confirmation before actually deleting the parameter.
